the only thing to do - how to add shortcut to this.

A good idea to add some examples of such SQL to manual. Last time I haven't understood how when Atril peoples wrote that «Go to next empty» can be made with SQL.

some addendum Dec 7, 2015

How to make filter working not in WORD boundaries.

So that filter «match» find also «matches» etc?

And another good idea — to not filter if there are zero results.

DVX's SQL filtering is great Dec 8, 2015

Exactly. Having to point and click three times on the ribbon is a real letdown for the marvelous feature of SQL filters.

Regarding word boundaries, if you're talking about the regular filter available in the grid context menu, then you cannot customize that. The source filter filters on whole words (so if you select a partial word and do the filtering, the very segment you filtered from disappears!), while the target filter filters regardless of word boundaries. Don't ask me why it works like this. The SQL filter on the other hand knows no word boundaries.

On not filtering if there are zero results, it's an interesting idea. You won't be able to do that with SQL, but DVX could implement in internally. It might be confusing if DVX simply did nothing, but a message to the effect "This filter produces no segments" might indeed be better than showing an empty grid.

go to next empty with RegEx Dec 8, 2015

You can use the Find dialogue to go to the next empty segment.

In Find dialogue, check "Use Regular Expressions" and find:

^$

HTH
Selcuk

--------------------------
Moreover in DVX3 there is a shortcut for it (though I never used it before)

Next Untranslated on Ribbon (Home Tab)
Next Unconfirmed Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Down Arrow
