Microsoft Office (Live) is a comparatively new filter and is still being developed and improved. Try re-importing the file and using the older filter called "Microsoft Word". Or you can try saving your source file in an older PowerPoint version. One of these two might work.

what about unchecking the "Ignore Slide notes" checkbox and re-importing? | |

Could be that something wrong with your system: PC or DéjàVu. I don't know, but the notes + slides' import works on my machine. | |
