A relative of mine is fluent in US English (native speaker) and German. She has studied German in the US and lived in Germany for a year. As she is living in a bilingual family in the DC area she thinks about working as a professional translator/interpreter in the future.

Which undergraduate/graduate/translation programs in the DC area would you recommend to get a strong professional background?

Thanks
