Hi everyone,

As per subject, is it possible to add some operators to the community rates URL ( http://search.proz.com/employers/rates ) to directly link to the rates in a specific pair?

Thanks,
Mirko

A direct link should now be possible Apr 10, 2017

Hello Mirko,

Thanks for pointing this out. It should now be possible to obtain the direct link to specific search results when using this tool. For example: http://search.proz.com/employers/rates?source_lang=eng&target_lang=esl&disc_spec_id=87¤cy=eur&submit=Submit

That's a useful addition as it's something I've often wished for. But why oh why does the URL still - after many years and several comments - refer to "employers"??? Employers don't expect their employees to have rates - they pay them a salary. These aren't even our clients' rates; they're our (freelance translators') rates.

I agree. I did notice that and in fact I didn't understand the reason for that "employers". It's a detail, but it does convey the wrong idea.

However, as far as I understand, those rates are a "mix" of freelancers' and agencies' (I wonder how many, BTW) rates, but even so, "employers" doesn't seem the most appropriate term to use.
