No plans for Windows Phone / Windows 10 Mobile? That's a pity... | | | Great feedback! | Jun 15, 2016 |
Thanks everyone. Your comments here, the feedback sent through the app (via "Feedback") and Google Play ratings are really helpful. Keep them coming! Walter Landesman wrote: Is it going to be developped for Windows Phone as well? For the time being, only Android and iOS will be supported. In the future, app versions for other operating systems may be considered. Eric MARRET wrote: The forum page is the one from the site, requires a lot of zooming, not very comfortable to use It would be nice if one could pass from one terminology request to the next without having to go back to Also it seems it's not yet possible to agree/disagree an answer Thanks, Eric! I'll add your suggestions for Forum and Term Search to the list of future improvements. As for KudoZ peer grading, that's correct. Agreeing or disagreeing with an answer, as well as discussion entries and reference posts are not supported. They may be in the future though. LAETICIA S wrote: Hi Lucia, I already go on the website through my browser on my handy. What should I get more with this app? What should it bring to me? I find it already easy through the website with my phone. I'm hesitating over adding a new app which should take some place on my phone. What should be the advantages? The advantage of using ProZ.com via the app over using ProZ.com via mobile web browser is that ProZ.com Mobile is being designed so that most relevant services are grouped together and very easy to access with just one click (jobs, Term Search, KudoZ, Forums, etc.). Eventually, notifications will be integrated into the app so that you get notified of posts of your interest in real time as well. I suggest you give it a try for a week or so and then make a decision as to which is more comfortable for you, ProZ.com via app or ProZ.com via web browser (or both!). Just let me know... I know that there's a "feedback" option inside the app, but I can't even get the app to work - when I log in, it says "The requested freelancer has disabled this type of access to his or her profile". (I think that's the message, it only pops up for a few seconds!) | | | Marisol Foschi United States Local time: 07:23 English to Spanish + ... ProZ.comMobile app | Jun 15, 2016 |

Hi, I could download the app and am eager to start using it. However, whenever I try to log in, a sign appears "the requested freelancer has disallowed this kind of access to his/her profile". Could you please let me know where/how i can allow for access? I have tried different settings but was not successful. Best Guille | | | Profile publishing preferences | Jun 15, 2016 |

To do so, visit http://www.proz.com/profile-editor/publishing-prefs and un-check the "Don't allow anyone to access my profile through the API." box. This should solve the issue. When responding to a job I can't seem to find the "Use template" option. Is it there and I can't see it or is this not available? | | | ProZ.com does it again! | Jun 16, 2016 |
You guys rock! And you could certainly give a good few web owners a lesson in interface design. Really clean, as we have come to expect from ProZ!! Love this Android application. Just so "the right way to go"! Thank you so much! | |

Job quote templates are not available yet, Beth, but it's part of the plan to include them in future releases. Thanks for your patience. William [Bill] Gray wrote: You guys rock! The interface is really nicely laid out and I really like the fact you can scroll left to right to access a given part of the site (i.e. Kudoz points, forums, jobs etc) or have the side entry menu. All very slick. My only criticism thus far is the size of the font on the forums. It's so small it's virtually unreadable and I have pretty decent eyes and one of those phablet phones. It also doesn't scale to your screen at all so is in no way mobile friendly for zooming in and you end up having to scroll left and right a lot to read a sentence. Built-in spell check would be nice too. Also when I rotate between landscape and portrait view, I get kicked out of the forums back to the home page, same on jobs and other areas. Also, in quotes, the currency symbol is defaulted to $ (USD) but with the correct code after e.g. GBP, EUR etc etc. There are probably other bugs, but that is what I have noticed so far. Also my fear is that this will increase competition on the bidding for jobs, which is already almost out of control (50+ bids per job sometimes), as more people will have easy access all the time.

And good catch of that bug in landscape / portrait view. It will be fixed. As for the currency symbol one, I am afraid I could not reproduce it. Would you mind sending me a screenshot via [email protected]? Thanks!
