English term or phrase: object layering
No context, unfortunately this is for a straight string translation. But it refers to layering objects in presentations like PowerPoint and Keynote.

The best I can come up with is Objektschichtung and Objektüberlagerung. Do you have any other suggestions? Which one is better, in a computer software context, talking to a user?

Thanks very much in advance!
