neutral  Tony M: When 'cadenassage' is specifically referred to alone (i.e. without / instead of 'consignation'), it really needs to be interpreted as the 'lockout' part only; and note that your answer appears ambiguous in the way it answers the dual term!

agree  David Burnett: Actually, in this case, "lockout/ tagout" is the common term and procedure name in the industry. It includes both the shutdown and restoration of machine power. You would not lockout a machine without tagging out.
