This is about the recycling of oil slops. French. Don't know what country. I believe that this is about a fractionator column. There are packings or something inside the column. Thanks.

English translation:head packing
Explanation:

head gaskets

Explanation:
It's one of those things where "a picture tells a thousand words". With only half a dozen words at hand, we need to think laterally - or, as here, literally.

neutral  Chakib Roula: Hello Robin, is "gasket" relevant in this context as I think packing would seem more appropriate.

agree  Tony M: I did also wonder about 'liner', which I could conceive as being something you might have 2 of in a head, between which you might pass some kind of feed... but this is all really crystal-ball stuff :-(

neutral  Anca Florescu-Mitchell: Not necessarily gaskets. See, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractional_distillation

You might know from your context what kind of "packing material" is used.

neutral  Tony M: That's referring to a very different kind of column (not a fractionating one) — and the s/t does mention 'between the two...', whereas 'packing' here would be non-countable.
