Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Mexican bank branches
Spanish term or phrase: patio de sucursal
This term is used to describe a sales channel at a Mexican bank. In the document, it is contrasted with sales that take place "en sucursal".

Here's the original context:

Canales de venta:
1) En sucursal
2) Fuera de sucursal
- patio de sucursal
- centros comerciales
- etc.

Is this the area in front of the bank? I'm not sure that there is an equivalent term in American English.

branch banking hall

Explanation:
At the link I have provided (Foster and Partners), there is a pdf document with a bilingual text. You can see in the section "Mas importante que los edificios...." / " More important than buildings" that "El patio de operaciones" is translated as "banking hall":
"El patio de operaciones no invade..." / "The banking hall is not an intrusion"

Being in reference to a bank, it should not be confused with "patio de operaciones bursátiles" which would be a trading floor (stock exchange, not a bank)
