pass the word on Explanation: En algunos casos la aproximación artística permite observar con diferente mirada el continente (valorando por ejemplo la publicidad pintada en las paredes, el sistema del pasapalabra, el sorprendente desarrollo de la telefonía móvil)... http://www.glocalyouth.net/esp/rep_africa.htm In some cases through this artistic approach the African continent can be perceived from a different point of view (by valuing for instance the adverts painted on houses, the "pass the word on" communication system, and the surprising development of mobile telephony). http://www.glocalyouth.net/eng/rep_africa.htm |

word tennis with brands Explanation: If the activity of pasapalabra de las marcas involves taking turns to say different brands covering all the letters of the alphabet then it is similar to an game sometimes used in language teaching to practise vocabulary. The game is called word tennis, so in this case I would adapt it to word tennis with brands. Example sentence(s):

"Password" Explanation: In quotation marks and capitalised, as a proper noun. = Password, the game (and TV show) If you think about it, the format lends itself very readily to marketing survey word association type questions. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2017-03-26 09:14:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Example: "... taking part in the 'Password' brand-association game" Example sentence(s):

brand alphabet game / brand A to Z game Explanation: They must be referring to the very familiar Spanish TV quiz show, and as I mentioned in the discussion area it's based on the British TV show The Alphabet Game (closely enough to have given rise to legal action for breach of copyright, apparently). So it seem suitable. But I also like Helena's idea of "A to Z game" and have added it as an alternative. |
