If you are considering giving to a cause, you can make your donation count for double. Donations made to Translators without Borders (TwB) between now and January 15th will be matched, up to 20,000 USD.
Translators without Borders is working to make sure language is not a barrier for those in need of assistance, health, medical, and other information. You can also find information about TwB's work with Wikipedia to provide greater access to healthcare information further down in this newsletter. Through this dollar-for-dollar fundraising match, you can help twice as many women, children and families access the information they need for basic medical care, disaster and crisis prevention and relief, and for education. Funds raised also go towards training new translators in Africa and elsewhere, in languages which are sorely needed in support of these efforts.

"We are pleased to inform you that the training programs for orphanage and foster care systems are spreading like wildfire – in Rwanda, in Turkey, in Japan, and they just became standard for all Estonian foster care and institutions – and so forth, the demands are exponential.
We thank you all for helping us in 2014 - and to comfort you - we will probably ask you for help again in 2015 :) We are planning for an instructor’s online training program which will probably also need translations at some point.
