The Paradigm Shift
Baker (1992) provides the following definitions for paradigm shift:
Thomas S. Kuhn (1970): Scientific paradigms are "accepted examples of actual scientific
practice, examples which include law, theory, application, and instrumentation together-- (that)
provide models from which spring particular coherent traditions of scientific research."
Adam Smith (1975): A shared set of assumptions. The paradigm is the way we perceive the
world; water to the fish. The paradigm explains the world to us and helps us to predict its
behavior." Smith concludes that "when we are in the middle of the paradigm, it is hard to
imagine any other paradigm."
Willis Harmon (1970): "The basic way of perceiving, thinking, valuing, and doing associated
with a particular vision of reality. A dominant paradigm is seldom if ever stated explicitly; it exists
as unquestioned, tacit understanding that is transmitted through culture and to succeeding
generations through direct experience rather than being taught."
Barker (1992): "A paradigm is a set of rules and regulations (written or unwritten) that does two
things: (1) it establishes or defines boundaries; and (2) it tells you how to behave inside the
boundaries in order to be successful."
Barker (1992) identifies the following Paradigm Principles:
• Our perceptions of the world are strongly influenced by paradigms.
• Because we become so good at using our present paradigms, we resist changing them.
• It is the outsider who usually creates the new paradigm.
• Practitioners of the old paradigm who choose to change to the new paradigm early, must
do so as an act of faith rather than as the result of factual proof, because there will never
be enough proof to be convincing in the early stages.
• Those who change to a successful new paradigm gain a new way of seeing the world
and new approaches for solving problems as a result of the shift to the new rules.
• A new paradigm puts everyone back to zero, so practitioners of the old paradigm, who

يعرف باركر (1992) قواعد الأنموذج كالتالي:
• فهمنا للعالم يتأثر بشدة بالأنموذجات.
• لأننا نبرع في استخدام الأنموذجات الحالية، فإننا نرفض التخلي عنها وتغييرها.
• العنصر الخارجي (الدخيل) دائماً هو الذي ينشئ أنموذج جديد.
• يجب أن يكون أتباع الأنموذج القديم الذين يختارون التحول إلى الأنموذج الجديد مبكراً مؤمنين بداخلهم بما يفعلون وليس كنتيجة لوجود دليل واقعي، لأنه لن يكون هناك أدلة كافية ومقنعة في المراحل المبكرة.
• من يتحولون إلى أنموذج جديد يرون العالم من جهة جديدة عليهم ويكتسبون طرق جديدة لحل المشاكل كنتيجة للتحول إلى القواعد الجديدة.
• يعيد الأنموذج الجديد الجميع إلى الصفر، لذلك فإن أتباع الأنموذج القديم الذين كانت تتوفر لهم مزايا كبيرة يفقدون بعض أو كل نفوذهم.

تم الاتفاق بين كل من:
1- مؤسسة __________ (طرف أول)
2- شركة __________ (طرف ثاني)
5- مدة هذه الشراكة خمس سنوات تبدأ من تاريخ التوقيع على هذا العقد ويتجدد تلقائياً لمدد مماثلة ما لم يخطر أحد الطرفين الآخر برغبته كتابة ً بعدم التجديد بمدة لا تقل عن ثلاثة شهور سابقة على تاريخ انتهاء مدته ويستمر العمل بهذا العقد بعد انتهائه لحين إتمام جميع العقود السابقة وتنفيذ جميع العقود التي تكون قد أبرمت مع الغير بشكل نهائي، واستيفاء جميع الديون لما تم القيام به من أعمال أثناء سريان العقد.
6- إذا تم إلغاء العقد من قبل الطرف الأول وقبل انتهاء مدته الأولى، فإنه يلتزم بتعويض الطرف الثاني التعويض الجابر للضرر مع تحمل الطرف الأول منفرداً بالتعويض عن كافة الأضرار الناشئة نتيجة تنفيذ هذا العقد في ------
