Source text - English I asked her to review her mental health over the last one or two years. She described herself as being 'really, really depressed'. She said that before falling pregnant with Xxxx she had a painful knot in her stomach and was always crying. She found out she was pregnant after three or four months and ceased drinking. About three weeks after delivery she attended her GP Eearing that she would relapse back into alcohol use as she was 'so depressed'. The GP prescribed an antidepressant and about six weeks after the delivery she relapsed hack into alcohol use. She was then prescribed a variety of sedative tablets and by Easter 2008 was having considerable difficulties due to a combination of alcohol and medication. At that time her parents visited from Iceland but she cannot remember this ten day period.
Translation - Icelandic Ég bað hana að fara yfir andlega heilsu sína síðustu eitt til tvö árin. Hún lýsti sjálfri sér sem „mjög, mjög þunglyndri“. Hún sagði, að áður en hún hefði orðið þunguð að Xxxxx, hefði hún fundið sáran hnút í maganum og verið sígrátandi. Hún uppgötvaði að hún væri þunguð eftir þrjá eða fjóra mánuði og hætti að drekka.
