I am a freelance translator living and working in Spain. I studied seventeenth-century Spanish art at the University of Bristol, which entailed extensive work in Seville working with manuscripts and document translation. Now I am focussing on the Camino de Santiago and the poetry school of Mondoñedo.

My training is particularly in areas of historical, art historical and educational significance.

I worked for many years as a teacher in the UK and have a broad general interest in educational themes. This has involved me in writing policy documents, schemes of work and in helping and preparing students for university and job applications. I can offer a personalised service in curriculum vitae preparation and editing effective letters of application for employment.

In the next year I shall be publishing my guide to the Camino de Santiago in Galicia, which will include translations of representative examples of literature.
