Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses practical, modern, and well researched strategies to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives in a relatively short period of time. Working with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, the Solution Focused Hypnotherapist looks at what the client wants to achieve rather than on the problem(s) that prompted them to seek change.
The approach focuses on the present and future and not on the past. The Hypnotherapist asks the client to consider their preferred future, for instance, what would be better if the problem had improved? What would have changed? This enables the client’s possible solutions to become more apparent and worked towards. Hypnosis itself reduces anxiety and this is done very simply through relaxation and visualisation, allowing the client to focus on the positive aspects of their lives that encourages a shift in perspective.

Source text - English Whether you are a business, or an individual, the Exeter Pound is designed for everyone in the city. The idea is to make
the local economy in Exeter more resilient, by building community and supporting local traders. It’s simple to use: the
Exeter Pound is equal in value to sterling, and has 1, 5, 10 and 20 pound notes.
The Exeter Pound can only be accepted by local, independent traders. By local and independent, we mean businesses
that are based in Exeter, and run by local owners. (The full criteria for a business to sign up can be found on the website:
http://bit.ly/1OFUbxT ). We launched the local currency in September 2015, and there are currently 130 traders signed
up so far, with more joining all the time. You can find a map and directory of all the businesses who take the Exeter

If you’d be interested in taking the Exeter Pound for your business, it’s a simple process. First, you’ll need to go online to
officially sign up with us. This takes about 2 minutes, and only requires your business name and address, and it will also
ask you to create a username and a password. This sets up an online Exeter Pound account for your business. Once you’ve
done this, one of our team will bring you a trader pack, which contains a security guide , a window sticker , and a
brochure . The security guide will tell you about all of the features on the notes, which include holograms, watermarks
and serial numbers. These mean that the notes can’t be forged. The window sticker will help if you have a shop front, to
advertise to the public that you accept Exeter Pounds. The brochure was printed before our launch, and lists 86
businesses who had signed up by that point.
