I’m an English teacher turned Krio interpreter and translator. I specialize in education, legal and medical terminology.
Raised in Chicago, I studied languages and education. After working for years in Czechia and Hungary as an English school teacher, I went to Sierra Leone as a volunteer educator. Since then, I have been using my first-hand experience to create medical and legal dictionaries in Krio. Of course I still teach. Now I offer a multi-media Krio course to NGOs and other specialists working in Sierra Leone.
