After graduating in 1999 in Business and Information Technology from the London Guildhall University, I began to work for different IT companies in Mexico, UK and Spain. The projects I carried out demanded the efficient completion of IT projects where the correct use of both languages, English and Spanish was needed. Oral and written translation, (legal, technical, financial), became a daily task.
A few years ago, I decided that “translation” should become my main job. I enjoy everything that it involves especially learning a bit more about other markets.
Many of the helpful skills I currently use for translating came through my years as an IT Project Manager: planning, organisation, attention to detail, validation & verification…Those years also brought me in-depth knowledge about different areas concerning any business (IT, Sales, Purchase, Legal, Finance, HHRR, Marketing, QHSE).
I take it seriously but with a lot of humour to overcome tight deadlines!
