Source text - English Accelerometer
A transducer whose output is n electrical/mechanical directly proportional to acceleration forces. The output is usually produced by force applied to a piezoelectric crystal which generates a current proportional to the applied force. This current is then amplified and displayed as a time waveform or processed by a Fourier transform to produce a frequency display. Single integration of the acceleration signal will produce a velocity display and double integration of the acceleration signal will produce a displacement display.
Aliasing
To digitize an analog signal for processing in digital instruments such as an FFT analyzer, it first must be periodically sampled, the sampling process occurring at a specific rate called the sampling frequency. As long as the sampling frequency is more than twice as high as the highest frequency in the signal, the sampled wave will be a proper representation of the analog waveform. If, however, the sampling frequency is less than twice as high as the highest frequency to be sampled, the sampled waveform will contain extraneous components called "aliases." The generation of aliases is called aliasing.

Solapamiento (aliasing).
Para digitalizar una señal análogo para el procesamiento en instrumentos digitales tales como un analizador FRT, primero debe ser muestreada periódicamente, el proceso de muestreo debe tener lugar en un índice específico llamado frecuencia de muestra. Si la frecuencia de muestreo es más de dos veces tan alta como la frecuencia más alta en la señal, la onda de muestra será una representación adecuada de la forma de onda análogo. Si, sin embargo, la frecuencia de muestreo es menos de dos veces tan alta como la frecuencia más alta para ser muestreada, la forma de onda muestreada contendrá componentes extraños llamados “aliases”. La generación de alias se llama solapamiento (aliasing).

Source text - English A total of 113 human urine samples were assayed using the XXXX Chemistry Products THC Reagent and a GC/MS reference method specific for 11-nor- Δ9 -THC-9-carboxylic acid. Percent agreement was evaluated at assay cutoff values of 20 and 50 ng/mL.
•To challenge performance at the 20 ng/mL cutoff value, 28 of the 113 samples tested had concentrations within +/- 50% of the cutoff value, 18 samples below the cutoff value and 10 samples above the cutoff value.
Analytical Recovery of Semi-Quantitative Results.
Nine admixtures spanning the reportable range (5 to 80 ng/mL) were prepared from a high level human urine-based control fluid and a negative urine pool.
