I am a native Swede, living in the Netherlands. I work full time as a freelance translator and translate from English and Dutch into Swedish.
Through my work as a Swedish linguist in an international medical technology company, specialized in areas as Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular, Neurology, Diabetes and ENT, I have several years of experience in translating and editing medical technical document. Among others I have experience with patient/physician manuals, software, etc. for Implantable devices, AED’s, Neurostimulators, Insulin Pumps, various kind of medical Instruments.
My preferred translation areas are Life Sciences/Medical Technology.

Before I moved to the Netherlands, I began my working carrier as a nurse, working in a nursing home for elderly people. After a few years I specialized in oncology and started to work as an oncology nurse/ radiation technologist in a radiation therapy department. After my move to the Netherlands I continued to work in a radiation therapy department as a radiation technologist for several years, before I made a switch and started to work as a Swedish linguist for the above mentioned international Medical Technology Company.
