Summary:This is a practical and straightforward course with a dual purpose: Identify your ideal side project and find ways to allocate time to it. The course has been designed for those of us who have many interesting ideas for business and career projects (such as building a professional website, writing a book, doing market research) but feel overwhelmed or uncertain of whether they should pursue it. A course aiming at motivating you to do more but more importantly to do the right thing.
Description
This course guides you through a process that helps you take a good and honest look at how you spend your time. If you have business side projects you want to dedicate your time to but feel that there is a lot of pressure from your main professional activity (e.g. translation), this course could help.

How you use your time is up to you. Some things are not necessary, others are just distractions that do not help you work on your projects. You may have to do some compromises.

Think of a garden full of weeds. You need to remove them if you want your flowers to blossom.

This course has been developed in view of how hectic and challenging freelancing can be and how it might be easy to get lost in social media and all the information we are inundated by. Freelancing constitutes a challenge also because we are all exposed to the patterns of success of other freelancers and entrepreneurs and we often forget what our own innate talents are. Your side project need to reflect your personality, skills and aspirations.

* The exercises for this course have been specifically designed to help you become more aware of your needs, skills and potential.

Very helpful! Feb 6, 2016

I came across Magda's course when I was uncertain about which side projects to pursue and how to make time for it. This course made me realize I could create time each day, and be happy while doing it! The course was simple and easy to follow, but the process of making the goals and following through is up to you. But that's where her generous follow-up comes in! She has been very professional guiding me to the resources, and I found her own experience reassuring. I'm still in the process, but I'm certain I'll be happy with the end results! Thank you so much Magda for creating this course! I wholeheartedly recommend it to any colleagues with passion projects, who are parents, and anyone who is struggling to find time for business side projects.
