Dates and times are arranged between the lecturer and the student.

The training will last 3 (three) hours and it is provided on a one-on-one basis, using Skype or the GoToWebinar platform.

Prepare your questions before the class! There will be opportunity to discuss software features during the workshop. You can send your questions to the support center as a wish list before the one-on-one session.


When the session is complete, request a certificate of attendance by submitting a support request. It will be available for download from your ProZ.com profile under "Training sessions attended".

    This is a live group coaching package of minimum 4, maximum 6 participants and consists of 3 sixty minute sessions conducted in three successive weeks. You will work with fellow starting freelancers and create/implement your action plan in building your successful freelancer business.

    Bio: Holding a BA on English Language and Literature, Arzu has been translating starting from the first year of the college. After graduation, she worked as an English teacher for 1 year but continued to provide translations on a part-time basis all this time. Eventually she started as a full-time translator in an agency. Several years later she became a full-time freelancer and has been working as a full-time freelancer since then.

    Arzu took a 1 year training on health coaching and holds a Health Coach certificate from HealthCoachTraining.
    She also completed a 8 months life coaching training by Erickson College, getting her Life Coach certificate. She has been coaching professionally since 2010 along with her translation career.

    Arzu was born and has been living in Istanbul, Turkey.

    I have no experience in using CAT toolsMay 26, 2016

    I am interested in takeing this course, but unfortunately i have no experience in using CAT tools. Would this be an obstruct for me if i take this course?

    Hello Amanialenazi,

    Thank you for your interest in the training. It is not a problem if you do not have experience using CAT tools. However, you might be willing to learn the tools. If you learn quickly that would make the process easier and shorter for you.

    This program does require certain background such as a proper degree or enough experience in translation but to make sure this course fits please feel free to contact the trainer via profile.
