The Vendor agrees to provide the goods and services set forth above and on any continuation sheet(s) attached hereto for the total fixed price specified above in accordance with the terms and subject to the conditions set forth herein and attached hereto or provided herewith (each of which are incorporated by reference as fully stated herein) and any applicable provisions of the USAID/Other Agreement under which this Order is made (these provisions are available upon request). Both parties understand and agree that the total fixed price shall cover all expenses related to providing the required supplies and services. The agreement under which this Order is financed does not permit the use of USAID funds to pay any taxes, tariffs, duties or other levies imposed by laws in effect in the destination country, and not such charges shall be paid under this Order. All other taxes (including VAT, if applicable) must be reflected separately.

The children’s and youth organisation grew out of a school report written in January 2007 by the then 9-year-old Felix Finkbeiner.
At the end of his report Felix outlined a vision of children planting a million trees in every country in the world, thereby offsetting CO2 emissions. In the years since then Plant-for-the-Planet has grown into a global movement: today there are more than 100,000 children in over 100 countries campaigning for the eradication of CO2 emissions and for climate justice – meaning a fair distribution of emissions rights across all the people of the world. Children get involved by planting trees: in Germany they have already passed the million mark. In partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) we have planted over twelve billion trees worldwide. Every tree is both a storage facility for CO2 and a symbol for climate justice.
Plant-for-the-Planet has received great recognition for its work, both nationally and internationally. HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Klaus Töpfer are patrons of the children’s and youth initiative. UNEP, too, has placed great trust in Plant-for-the-Planet: On 7 December 2011 at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP17) in Durban it handed over the Billion Tree Campaign – and thus the official worldwide tree counter – to the children.

La Fondation « Plantons pour la planète » a été créé dans le prolongement d’un projet scolaire sur les changements climatiques écrit par un écolier, Felix Finkbeiner, alors âgé de 9 ans, en Janvier 2007.
A la fin de son projet scolaire, Felix décrit sa vision d’enfants plantant un milliard d’arbres dans tous les pays du monde entier pour aider à compenser les émissions de carbone dans le monde. La Fondation « Plantons pour la planète » est depuis lors devenu un mouvement mondial : Aujourd'hui, elle compte plus de 100 000 enfants dans plus d’une centaine de pays faisant campagne pour l'éradication des émissions de CO2 et pour la justice climatique - c'est-à-dire une distribution juste des droits d'émissions pour toute personne dans le monde entier. Les enfants s'impliquent en plantant des arbres : en Allemagne, ils ont déjà dépassé la barre du million. En partenariat avec le Programme des Nations Unies pour l’Environnement (PNUE), nous avons planté plus de 12 milliards d'arbres dans le monde entier. Chaque arbre est à la fois un centre de stockage de CO2 et un symbole de justice climatique.
La Fondation > a acquis une solide réputation pour ses œuvres nationales et internationales. Son Altesse Sérénissime le Prince Albert II de Monaco et Klaus Töpfer sont parrains de cette organisation de jeunes pour la défense de l'environnement. PNUE, fais également grandement confiance à la Fondation > : Le 7 Décembre 2011, PNUE a transferré la Campagne pour un milliard d’arbres - et donc le compteur d'arbre mondial officiel - aux jeunes de la Fondation « Plantons pour la planète » lors de la Conférence des Nations Unies sur le changement climatique 2011 (COP17) qui s'est tenue à Durban.
