| | Regular expressions are special rules that allow us to find a text meeting specified conditions and do something useful with it. In memoQ, this “something useful” may mean, among others things, conversion to a tag or inclusion/exclusion of a text for translation.
This presentation will show how to use the “Regex text” file filter to import and translate complex text files (e.g., programming languages source code or .ini files), and how to use the “Regex tagger” feature to convert some parts of text for translation into tags (and why it is needed).
