Prague, June 8th, 2010 : SKRIVANEK confirms its ever-expanding global role by announcing that for the 4th year in the row it places on the list of the largest translation agencies worldwide. Skrivanek now is ranked 20th in an independent study of the top language service providers in the world according to a report released by the American research and consulting company Common Sense Advisory. With its 50 offices worldwide, Skrivanek ranks an even more impressive 3rd place in terms of number of branch offices.
Based on a survey conducted on 889 LSPs, the overall rate of growth from 2008 to 2009 was significantly slower than in previous years for all language providers - an average of just 8.21%. Yet, Common Sense Advisory calculates that the market for outsourced language services will be worth an impressive US$26.327 billion in 2010.
Based on the 2009 fiscal year, the list explains the performance of the top 35 language companies and provides in-depth research of the language industry leaders.
