Assignment time

If you have a minimum of 2 or 3 hour for interpreting assignment and the assignment lasts 30 min you charge the minimum (2 or 3 or whatever your minimum is).
If your client says the assignment will last approximately 4 hours, you advise him your minimum is 3, and the assignment ends up lasting 3 hours, do you charge for 3 or 4 hours? You cannot schedule anything for the time from 8-12 because you were advised the assignment might take 4 hours.
