You just have to read between the lines, because both of them can be messy and compromising, and usually calling for further action to be taken down the line.

Isn't Yandex a brand of underpants? Or was it Spandex/Mandex? It certainly sounds like it is. If not, please do not continue to stray from the topic. Kindly read Rule 3. Or was it 4? Could have been 2. No, it was 5. You know what, read them all, just in case.
What about translation briefs? | Apr 23, 2021 |
Who is the underpants underwriter (aka translator)? And why do they wear them over their tights? I guess all this was briefly legal.

They google better than google, map better than maps, uber better than uber, etc. Their MT is much nicer for Eastern European languages.

but we can have a 'brief legal' in Brazilian Portuguese that turns out to be a "cool brief" in European Portuguese

It's NOT Google translation tools that are creating a legal mess. It's PEOPLE who are creating a mess - a linguistic mess in the first place, and occasionally also a legal mess. You can't blame the MT engines nor those who are creating MT engines. The blame lies squarely on those people who are misrepresenting the capabilities of MT, and on those who are too careless or ignorant or greedy and want to believe the hype!
