Blue Board record with LWA entries on the same dates

I happened to look at the Blue Board record of a certain "outsourcer" (I will not name it here). There were 822 of them. For 11-27-2012 there were a total of 9 entries. Many, many other dates had similar multiple entries. I am a bit suspicious. Any ideas?

I've noticed that, too

I noticed it on one outsourcer's record when there had been talk of less-than-perfect business practices. I put it down to them ringing round all their current freelancers and demanding that they give them a good BB entry in return for more work. But perhaps I'm being too cynical.

I have noticed this phenomenon occurring at the BB record of a few agencies for whom "I don't work anymore" for some reason. I've set Proz to advise me via e-mail when new entries are made there, so that if they eventually improve their act, I might consider returning.
What I consider weird - if not outright suspicious - is that after several months of "silence", I suddenly get bombarded with a series of new entries for the same agency at once.

One possible reason that an outsourcer would receive multiple LWA entries on the same day is if a "Call for entries" was made from that outsourcer's Blue Board record. This feature is used to request that others make LWA entries for a particular outsourcer.
Once a call for entries is made, the request is published on the ProZ.com home page (under the "Recent Blue Board queries" heading), and an email is sent to all those who have subscribed to such requests.
