Valid publication? May 21, 2020

The linked publication clearly says:

Disclaimer: This is a company press release. No HT journalist was involved in the creation of this content.

Thus, it is not a real news article, and the question is: is that a valid thing for Translation news?

News? May 21, 2020

This “article” should be taken at face value: a press release advertising a translation agency or a self promotion exercise…

Unfortunately, there is nothing to see here May 21, 2020

ht journo

There is nothing wrong with a press release that doesn't say anything, but some newspapers publish press releases without thinking. Other newspapers publish press releases in a special section away from the featured news. It may be that the Hindustan Times is one of the latter, because this press release is not published in any of their main categories, but in a sub section called "brand posts", along with other company press releases.

Yet another Indian agency? Nothing to see here, folks, move on.
