Translation - English Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has been providing much needed health care facilities at a very low cost through its 57 Mother and Child healthcare centers in 27 districts of Bangladesh with its ‘Primary Health Care Program’ for many years to the poor village dwellers. This program has been running for a long time and helping poor rural people to get proper treatment. This Primary Health Care program has been running with the help of its generous donor organizations such as Danish Red Cross, Japan Red Cross and German Red Cross. Along with these international helps the local initiative is moving the program forward to reach its ultimate goal. To acquire the goal locally initiated ‘Centre Management Committees’ have been given the responsibility to run the duties individually in 57 mother and child health centers. It is planned to gradually make the Centre Managing Committees more efficient and skillful within 31st December 2012 to hand over the complete management responsibility of the maternity centers on them for the years to come.

Source text - English International migration is a global phenomenon affecting nearly all countries in the
world. Its role and impact is going to be much more significant in the future given the
increasing effects of global economic and demographic imbalances, globalization,
and climate change. Not surprisingly, therefore, the dynamics of international migration
and remittances have attracted the attention of policy makers around the world. This can
partly be gauged from the regular meetings on the issue in international organizations
such as the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, and the World Bank,
as well as the notable annual Global Forum on Migration and Development, which
is the largest and most comprehensive global platform for dialogue and cooperation
on international migration and development. Within this context, developing Asia has
been a net exporter of migrant workers and their rapidly growing remittances have
become a stable source of foreign exchange incomes, helping maintain the stability
and resilience of the Asian economy and improving the welfare of migrant and other
households. However, migration can also have negative repercussions for the host and
home countries.
