Translation - English Sometimes destiny is lenient with men even though sometimes we do not understand it. For every action or movement there is an aim, a reason.
Alas, we cannot see it; in the end we are nothing. We live just for a moment if we compare our lives with the moon, the sun and the stars. We are grains of sand blown away by the wind pushing us into the sea or amassing us, creating dunes. But we only see the dust around us. One, two, a hundred, one thousand grains of sand.
The whole is more than the sum of the parts, as in a dune filtering the brackish water, thus making the inland fields fertile. All those little grains of sand are unaware of this. Each one of them thinks to be there for their merits, willingly, on purpose. No one is aware of the aim of the whole.
Omar, Luis, Benedetto, three men who got lost at the beginning of the second Millennium, until destiny made them meet.
And even for them there was a reason.
