Ustalenie wartości zabezpieczenia zmiennego
Wartość zabezpieczenia zmiennego obliczana jest przez bank na każdy dzień wyceny (lub z inną częstotliwością, stosownie do decyzji banku) w trakcie obowiązywania Umowy Zabezpieczającej. Wszystkie czynności związane z kalkulacją wartości zabezpieczenia zmiennego dokonywane są przez bank i mają one, w tym i obliczona wysokość wartości zabezpieczenia zmiennego, charakter obowiązujący dla stron.

Depozyt otrzymany to wartość zabezpieczenia zmiennego, jakie zostało ustanowione na rzecz strony zabezpieczanej;
Depozyt wymagany to wartość zabezpieczenia zmiennego, jakie powinno być ustanowione przez stronę zabezpieczającą;

Do ustalenia wartości zabezpieczenia zmiennego konieczne jest obliczenie:
- ekspozycji strony zabezpieczanej,
- wartości depozytu wymaganego,
- wartości depozytu otrzymanego,
- kwoty wpłaty,
- kwoty zwrotu.
