cold stacking wyłączenie z użytku Explanation: Cold Stacked Rigs In general, to cold stack a rig is similar to "shuttering" an industrial plant; workers are let go, the hatches are battened down and the rig is completely shut down. Cold stacking a rig involves reducing the crew to either zero or just a few key individuals and "storing" the rig in a harbor, shipyard or designated area offshore. Although the duration of cold stacking can vary depending on many factors, rigs that are cold stacked are typically out of service for a significant period of time and are generally not considered to be part of marketable supply. - http://www.monitor-systems-engineering.com/cold_stacked_rigs... "zimny laid-up", inaczej mówiąc są one "cold stacked"). - http://www.portalmorski.pl/offshore/nafta-i-gaz-offshore/428... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2016-08-12 22:40:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Według analiz firm z branży naftowej, prawdopodobnie z Morza Północnego zniknie prawie 150 platform wiertniczych w ciągu następnych dziesięciu lat ze względu na spadek opłacalności wydobycia. Z pośród planowanych zamknięć platform wiertniczych w ciągu następnych 25 lat ponad połowa z nich będzie miała miejsce w latach 2019-2026, według szacunków firmy Douglas-Westwood. - http://tradebeat.pl/Platformy-wiertnicze-beda-znikac-z-Morza... --------- The North Sea "doesn't work at $30 a barrel", he says. Indeed, the number of operational rigs, having gone from 57 to 27, is now thought likely to fall to just 19 by the summer. "One by one, the operators are looking at this and saying, 'this is just not happening for us'." Increasing numbers of idled rigs anchored in the firth, some crewed and kept ready to go to sea — "hot stacked" — and others shut down completely — "cold stacked" — are part of a wider global decline. - http://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/22/oil-crash-idled-rigs-stack-up... --------- As the offshore service sector continues to head south, the question of how to stack idle expensive offshore assets is on the minds of many Oilpros. "Stack" is rig slang for "layup." The two words have the same meaning. Warm layup (or warm stack) is the practice of keeping a small layup crew on a vessel to run equipment and carry out protective maintenance on the hundreds of systems found on a modern offshore rig or vessel. Cold Layup is the practice of mooring the vessel with only watchmen and not running systems during the layup period. - http://oilpro.com/post/18546/warm-stack-vs-cold-stack-may-wr... |

cold stacking utrzymywanie platform wiertniczych w stanie zakonserwowanym (ang. cold stacking) Explanation: Own invention based on the description below. cccccccccccc Cold-Stacking Cold-stacking of a rig is similar to “shuttering” an industrial plant – it involves “storing” the rig in a harbor, shipyard or designated area offshore and the crew is reduced to either zero or just a few key individuals and costs are therefore generally reduced to minimum levels. Typically, steps are taken to protect the rig including installing dehumidifiers and applying protective coatings to fight corrosion, installing monitoring systems that communicate rig status information to locations onshore and filling engines with protective fluids – all jobs that Safe Ocean service’s team of engineers are more that capable of performing at a high quality level. Although the duration of cold-stacking can vary depending on many factors, rigs that are cold stacked are typically out of service for a significant period of time and are generally not considered to be part of marketable supply. Before returning a cold-stacked rig to service, drilling contractors must hire a crew and some level of investment is usually required. The investment may come in the form of a survey, completing deferred maintenance or refurbishment, which also are jobs that Service Ocean Service offers to perform to the highest quality standard in the industry. http://www.safeos.dk/hot-cold-stacking/ |
