Bollito de ostra

This is a slight anomaly in the sense that although a "bullit" is a fish or meat stew in some Catalan-speaking regions, in Valencia it's usually an "hervido": i.e., just boiled vegetables. A stew with meat or fish is most often called a "putxero" in Valencia. However, a fish or seafood stew with rice or noodles can also be called a "bollit" (or "bullit"), as in this "bollit de ostra" (which is a mixture of Valencian and Castilian; it should be "bollit d'ostra"):

"Al País Valencià, l'anomenat bullit (o més habitualment bollit amb una [o], forma etimològica) no porta carn ni en cap cas arròs, sinó que barreja creïlles, carlotes i altres verdures hivernals. Si conté carn aleshores s'anomena putxero i pilotes. En aquest cas, pot portar pollastre o altres carns. [...]
També se'n diu bollit o bollit de peix a la versió del putxero que en comptes de dur carn i verdures es fa de peix, marisc o en general peix de morralla. D'aquest brou se sol cuinar arròs o fideus."

Since it's from Valencia it must be bollit, which is a Valencian (and Balearic) variant of Catalan bullit, meaning literally "boiled" and corresponding to Castilian hervido; in other words, it's basically stewed vegetables, but here apparently they've added oysters:

"El bollit és un plat típic de la gastronomia valenciana. Es pot menjar al dinar pero sobretot a l'hora del sopar, per ser un plat de fàcil digestió."

@Jane you're very welcome. If Justin confirms he's looking for Bollit I can change to agree! To my knowledge the Spanish bollito can also refer to bread rolls, etc.

the pictures I saw also suggested a stewlike Valencian dish. Can’t put agree as it’s not from definite prior knowledge but it seems to fit photos I have found online. It came up for Bollit though, which I assume is Valencian.

Are you looking for a translation for Bollit or Bollito? just asking because from a quick google I think they might be two different things
