I love my desktop wallpaper and usually coordinate it every day with the picture on my cellphone (if I get time!!), I simply take a picture of my wallpaper with the camera on my phone - silly me! I get my pictures from webshots.com. Great site. Time to change my picture anyway, I feel like tulips...

I like photos of landscapes, animals and plants. National Geographic is a great idea. But I take a lot of pictures myself like that of my actual wallpaper: my clucking black hen Marianne with 2 of her blond adoptive chicks - sitting on the window sill. Regards Steffi P.S. Do NOT show Sean in a kilt, please!

Before this forum starts to boil over, you can download "the image" in various sizes from: http://www.seanconnery.com/biography/ and entering "SEAN CONNERY kilt" in Google will give you various other results. Siegfried

Currently - the image of Progress cargo vehicle approaching the International Space Station, taken by the ISS-2 crew commander Yuri Usachev from the Laboratory module window and sent to me a few hours later directly from his onboard computer. My cats live in my PDA:-)
Really beautiful, taken by my husband when we were there four years ago, on vacation. We had met the previous year, also in India (we both love that country). Nice topic! Rosa
A picture taken by me in Mülheim an der Ruhr which shows a family of ducks resting on the riverside. Somehow, I managed to catch a wonderful light that afternoon. I've had it for almost 2 years now - I used to have photos of the LOTR characters, especially lovely Gollum (yes, I'm a LOTR geek!).
