Bio
I have more than 15 years' experience in translation and proofreading and I hold the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists in UK, as well as a B.A. in English Language and Literature and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology.

I have done extensive translation and proofreading work for the Greek Ministry of Education and for the Centre for the Greek Language as well as for numerous translation agencies both in Greece and abroad.

As far as CAT tools are concerned, I use SDL TRADOS in my work and I have compiled several glossaries. I am also familiar with all Microsoft Office Applications and with
Adobe Acrobat.

My main areas of expertise involve financial and legal issues, business, marketing, education, linguistics, philosophy, literature, psychology,social sciences, European Union affairs, tourism and games. I have also dealt extensively with the translation of engineering texts.

I place great emphasis on both top quality and timely delivery of the work required and I can translate up to 3000 words on a daily basis.
