XXX is for oromucosal use. The full amount of solution should be inserted slowly into the space between the gum and the cheek. Laryngo-tracheal insertion should be avoided to prevent accidental aspiration of the solution. If necessary (for larger volumes and/or smaller patients), approximately half the dose should be given slowly into one side of the mouth, then the other half given slowly into the other side.
Precautions to be taken before manipulating or administering the product
No needle, intravenous tubing or any other device for parenteral administration should be attached to the oral syringe.
XXX is not for intravenous use.
The oral syringe cap should be removed before use to avoid risk of choking.

XXX er til bruk i munnhulen. Hele volumet av oppløsningen skal sprøytes langsomt inn i rommet mellom tannkjøttet og kinnet. Laryngotrakeal innsetting bør unngås for å forhindre utilsiktet innånding av løsningen. Ved behov (for større volum og/eller hos små pasienter) skal ca. halvparten av dosen gis langsomt i den ene siden av munnen og den andre halvparten deretter gis langsomt i den andre siden.
Forholdsregler som må treffes før håndtering eller administrering av preparatet
Ingen nåler, intravenøse slanger eller annet utstyr til parenteral administrasjon må festes til den orale sprøyten.
XXX er ikke til intravenøs bruk.
Hetten til den orale sprøyten må fjernes før bruk for at den ikke skal kunne settes i halsen.
