Source text - English We stayed in **** for only one night, after meeting YYYY on the beach the year before. He met us in XXXXX and we drove after him up the bumpy ride to the chalet. Luckily our rental car survived! We were the only guests at the time, as it was not really season and also on a weekday. We went for a little walk in a small forest, then spent the rest of the day sitting in the sun with a mug of beer and Pippo, "the house cat". The view is really great, with the mountains on the other side of the valley. I can imagine that it is really nice here in the winter. We ate dinner in the cosy restaurant, and we had what they had made especially for us; a four course meal, with cold cuts, polenta with cheese, wildboar and a generous slice of chestnut cake and chocolate - all very good! It was a very nice stay, thank you YYYY and DDDD.

Abbiamo fatto una breve passeggiata in un boschetto e poi trascorso il resto della giornata seduti a goderci il sole, con un boccale di birra e Pippo, il "gatto di casa". La vista è davvero mozzafiato, con le montagne dall'altro lato della valle. Immagino che qui sia davvero bello durante l'inverno. Abbiamo fatto cena nell'accogliente ristorante mangiando quello che avevano preparato apposta per noi: un pasto di quattro portate, con affettati misti, polenta con formaggio, cinghiale, e una generosa fetta di torta di castagne e cioccolato - tutto ottimo! Le nez propose lui une très belle complexité aromatique, entre notes de raisins, de caramel et d'épices. En bouche, cette complexité s'intensifie encore un peu plus avec une belle douceur ainsi que des saveurs de fruits confits et un final bien soutenu par l'alcool.

I have contributed texts, games, word division and phonetic transcription to other books published in the past few years by the same publishers.
Three of my books with crosswords published by La Spiga Languages were also distributed as a supplement to Speak Up issues (De Agostini-Rizzoli Periodici) in 2004.
In 2006 some of my English crosswords and puzzles appeared in several magazines published by De Agostini Periodici.
The same year a bilingual dictionary of which I am co-author was distributed by the weekly magazine “Famiglia Cristiana” (San Paolo Periodici).
From February 2005 to December 2009 I created the games page for Speak Up, English monthly published by My Way Media (formerly by De Agostini).
In March 2010 I finished working on a new English-Italian/Italian-English dictionary for Modern Publishing.
In 2013 MODERN LANGUAGES published my book PARLIAMO INGLESE.
I agreed with the publishers, and upon their request, to use the pseudonym Joseph Bell, instead of my real name, for some of my works and contributions.
Besides, I have translated several powers of attorney, letters, brochures, magazine articles, exhibition catalogues and art reviews, medical and history texts, lists of ingredients, menus, agreements, the quality manual and the articles of incorporation for local and foreign clients.
