Bio

Your friendly, fast and dedicated translator from Finland!


I am a native, bilingual translator and media professional currently based in Finland. I focus mainly on media, engineering, marketing, web/game localisation and IT translations, while also doing some literary work such as subtitling, plays and film script translations for production companies working with foreign co-producers.

Lately, I have been doing a lot of work for the manufacturing and steel industries; technical manuals, safety training and website localisation.

Having trained as a Director (I have a London BA in Russian & Drama and an MA in Directing), I am comfortable offering services related to translation eg. graphics and video (Photoshop, graphic design and DTP, video editing), subtitling and voice-over work.

Additionally, I have studied at the Universities of Turku (Art History and Photography) and Helsinki (Philosophy, Aesthetics and Comparative Religions), The University of Industrial Arts and Design Helsinki, The Marketing Institute and The Helsinki School of Economics (Business/Creative Entrepreneurship).
