English to Turkish Technical Translator

I am a Turkish native speaker and English near-native speaker English to Turkish technical translator. This is not an agency account.

I provide English to Turkish technical translation and Turkish to English technical translation services.

I can provide my Turkish IT / technical translation services (Turkish-English-Turkish) .
I am a Notary Certified Turkish Translator, registered in Istanbul/Turkey.

I am based in London since 2009 and have been providing technical translation services from/to Turkish language until now, though I have been in translation business in various capacities from 1998 onwards.

As you will see in my attached CV and list of my recent works, I am an experienced user of computer and programming.

I am an English to Turkish technical translator, Turkish localization specialist and have undertaken several jobs of software localization, mobile phone / smartphone UI user interface and user guides (Android and iOS), smartphone privacy policy, privacy statement, general data protection regulation (GDPR), books, articles, news items, press releases, technical user manuals / user guides, technical specifications/guidelines, product manuals and product datasheets, safety manuals, tender documents, science & IT telecommunication related articles, help files, health and safety documents, health & medical (general), business related articles (except for legal and medical texts), human resources (privacy, terms and conditions, code of conduct, anti-money laundering, e-Learning modules, etc), news & current affairs, transcription, movie subtitling.

I prefer (and have license for) SDL Trados Studio 2019 and SDL Multiterm
for quality and consistency in the project that I undertake. 

I can also use MemoQ (with agency mobile license), Memsource / Phrase, Smartcat, XTM, XTRF, Wordfast and work with TTX TagEditor/SDLX files.

I was formerly a website designer, designed
Access / SQL based websites in ASP. So, I am quite familiar with the
programming, design, strings etc.

Accuracy and native sounding fluent quality output are my priorities. I check and verify terms over internet for their correct local usage. I do background reading if part of translation job is from a different sector that I am not very familiar with.

I have completed more than over 3 million words (No Match) since March 2010. Actual word count is more, as the word count update comes bit later. I have included some of them below the signature for your quick reference.

- FOR TURKISH-TO-ENGLISH TECHNICAL TRANSLATION PROJECTS; As much as I am fluent in English and have completed several jobs in this language direction, I am not a native English speaker.
But, I can produce quality output depending on the subject field at hand. I consider understanding of any source material correctly as a major part of a successful and accurate translation. Therefore, I believe I can contribute positively on this, surely, within the scope of my specialties.

Currently, I provide this service to the agencies and they do the final touch through an English native speaker.

- BIGGER PROJECTS, REQUIRING QUICK TURNAROUND? If the project ıs larger than one translator can handle ın a normal tıme frame, I can team up with my colleagues for translation and proofreading and provide high quality output.

I cannot deliver same day technical translation projects. The fastest one I can deliver is overnight or longer project deadlines, depending on my availability.

Also, I cannot be available through Skype or any other means that require almost instant response. I check my email regularly at certain intervals and respond where short responses would do the job, during the breaks I take between the translation tasks.
