Japanese to English: Colloquial Japanese Translation (speech)
Translation - English How the proposal of the Nantroseize (Nankai Trough Seismogenic Zone Experiments) came about was initially due to a few factors, but first of all it certainly has something to do with the local situation in Japan. There has been a great desire to understand the real identity of the massive earthquake with gigantic tremors and ocean trench that occurs and kills many people once in every 100-200 years. This desire is not limited to the researchers, but it also presents in general public as well. So, there was a big motivation in doing something about it at first. At the same time, there are also international research groups, earthquake researchers, and those engaged in dislocation experimentation and other various people who progress with their researches and finally the reason on why earthquakes happen was considerably comprehended. Afterwards, there was a heighten feeling to dig in the places where the massive earthquake will hit and therefore the researchers held a bunch of meetings. The meetings were held once or twice a year, sometimes in Japan, and sometimes in US, with high mood, it was being explained to various countries and that is how the project was being able to be completed.

Bio
I was born in Jakarta (Indonesia) and spent my first 17 years of my life there before pursuing my undergraduate study in Singapore majoring in telecommunications and electrical engineering. Having interest in Japanese culture, I started to pick up Japanese language and took 3 semesters of Japanese class during my undergraduate study.
I had my first job as software and system engineer in a Japanese company specializing in machinery, automation, and control system and were sent for training in Japan for 1.5 years. My Japanese skills gradually improved and a part from the engineering tasks, I was also given the responsibility to translate the software revision notice from Japanese to English. After 3 years of working in Singapore, I was transferred to the main office in Japan 2 years ago.
Over the past two years, I have proven myself as highly dedicated, ambitious, and high performance personnel that can adapt rapidly to a very diverse working culture. Some of my involvement documentations are as follow:
¥ Translating Software Revision Notice, Service News Flash, and Operation Manual of the CNC machines from Japanese to English periodically for 3 years.
¥ Extensive involvement in software documentation method which correspond to ISO9001 requirement in Japanese.
¥ Creating Software Requirement Specification, Design Specification, and System Testing Requirement.
