Source text - Portuguese O Café à Noite na Place Lamartine ou O Café à Noite (francês: Le Café de nuit) é um óleo sobre tela pintado por Vincent van Gogh em Arles, em setembro de 1888. O título "Le café de nuit" pode ser visto no canto inferior direito da tela, abaixo da assinatura do pintor.
A obra retrata o interior do café de la Gare, situado à Place Lamartine, de propriedade de Joseph-Michel Ginoux e sua esposa Marie Ginoux, que em novembro de 1888 posaria para os quadros A Arlesiana de Van Gogh e Gauguin. Joseph Ginoux também seria retratado pelos pintores um pouco depois.
Translation - English The Night Café or The Night Café at Lamartine is an oil on canvas work painted by Vincent Van Gogh in Arles, in September of 1888. The title "Le café de nuit" can be seen in the lower right corner of the canvas, below the signature of the painter.
The work portrays the interior of the café de la Gare, located at Place Lamartine, belonging to Joseph-Michel Ginoux and his wife Marie Ginoux, who, in November of 1888 would pose for the paintings "The Arlesian" by Van Gogh and Gaughin. Joseph Ginoux would also be portrayed by the painters a short time later.
