Portuguese to English: Interview with public health officer in Brazil for Tobacco research by Marty Otañez, PhD, University of Colorado, Denver
General field: Social Sciences
Detailed field: Anthropology
Source text - Portuguese
Original script of the interview:

Translation - English
Translation:

Tobacco control and human rights makes you aware of a world tobacco epidemic, and it is related to the tobacco production and consumption; you cannot disconnect one from the other. It is important to keep in mind the countless human rights violations that occur as in exploitation of child labor, of women, pesticide poisoning that, and a series of factors linked to human rights that need to be addressed by the instruments of tobacco control, so we can have an integral vision and address the issue in a larger perspective, and not only address a specific point, as tobacco production.

E em 1992, numa negociação do sindicato, a Ford me re-incorporou. To lá até hoje.
