I hold an upper degree in Linguistics and Translation. Through my studies, I am familiar with with various fields of science including communication, computer science, psychology and even astronomy. I have worked several years as a Web Developer and have a good understanding of computers and home electronics in general. CV available on request.
I work with MS Office products, Wordfast and Trados. As an experienced web developer, I'm capable of directly editing various types of source or markup code, such as XML, HTML or PHP. I also do desktop publishing. Besides MS Windows, I'm familiar with and currently using several Linux distributions.
My exact rates depend on text difficulty and length as well as the given deadline. For accuracy and easy conversion between varying word lengths in each language, I calculate my rates per line, not per word. When asking for a quote, please include a sample text for evaluation purposes if possible.
