The Bristol Citizen’s Advice Bureau opened an Eastern European Advice Point, at its headquarters in the city centre, in September 2010.
The goal of this advisory institution is to supply immigrants from Eastern Europe with knowledge about their rights, in order for them to be able to actively and effectively solve their problems and to campaign for necessary social change. The Eastern European Advice Point is a place available to anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, sexuality, disability or religion.
Our advice helps people solve issues such as: debt, housing, benefits, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems.

The relevant part of Article 13 of the Convention provides:
“Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Article, the judicial or administrative authority of the requested State is not bound to order the return of the child if the person, institution or other body which opposes its return establishes that –
a) …; or
b) there is a grave risk that his or her return would expose the child to physical or psychological harm or otherwise place the child in an intolerable situation.
The judicial or administrative authority may also refuse to order the return of the child if it finds that the child objects to being returned and has attained an age and degree of maturity at which it is appropriate to take account of its views.
In considering the circumstances referred to in this Article, the judicial and administrative authorities shall take into account the information relating to the social background of the child provided by the Central Authority or other competent authority of the child's habitual residence.”

Stosowna część rzeczonego artykułu 13 Konwencji zawiera następujące:
“Pomimo postanowień zawartych w poprzedzającym artykule, władze prawne lub administracyjne państwa, wobec którego złożono wniosek, nie mają obowiązku zarządzenia powrotu dziecka, jeżeli osoba, instytucja lub inna organizacja, która nie zgadza się na jego powrót ustanowi, że –
a) …; lub
b) istnieje poważne ryzyko, że po jego powrocie dziecko będzie narażone na krzywdę fizyczną lub psychiczną lub też, jeżeli znalazłoby się w sytuacji nie do zniesienia.

Source text - English 4.2.5 Duty of Care
The Duty of Care is set out in section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. The Duty of Care is applicable to all parts of our business and ensures that waste is managed properly, recovered or disposed of safely, does not cause harm to human health or pollution of the environment and is only transferred to someone who is authorised to receive it. The duty applies to any person who produces, imports, carries, keeps, treats or disposes of controlled waste or as a broker has control of such waste.

4.2.6 The Waste Management Industry
The waste management industry is THE most dangerous industry to be employed in – even more dangerous that the construction industry. Over 15 people were killed in 2006/07. Their deaths were directly attributed to the waste industry, some were members of the public, however the majority were workers, just like you.
You should be aware of the hazards involved in your job function and comply with the arrangements that the Company has in place to protect you and others. These risk assessments and safe systems of work will be discussed later in the induction.

Obowiązek opieki został opisany w artykule 34 Ustawy o ochronie środowiska z 1990 roku. Obowiązek opieki odnosi się do wszystkich aspektów naszego przedsiębiorstwa, zapewniając nie tylko odpowiednie gospodarowanie odpadami w kwestiach pozyskania i bezpiecznego wywozu, ale także zabezpieczając przed ryzykiem zanieczyszczenia środowiska i zagrożeń wobec zdrowia ludzkiego. 4.2.6 Przemysł gospodarki odpadami
Przemysł gospodarki odpadami JEST najniebezpieczniejszą branżą przemysłu, w której można znaleźć zatrudnienie – jest nawet bardziej niebezpieczny niż przemysł budowlany. Ponad 15 osób zginęło w roku 2006/07. Zgony te były bezpośrednio związane z przemysłem gospodarki odpadami, niektóre ze zmarłych osób były osobami postronnymi, ale większość stanowili pracownicy tacy, jak Ty.
Musisz mieć na uwadze, że obowiązki stanowiące część tego zawodu niosą ze sobą pewne ryzyko, w związku z tym konieczne jest przestrzeganie procedur ustalonych przez Zakład, mających na celu zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa zarówno Tobie, jak i innym pracownikom. Ocena ryzyka i systemy bezpieczeństwa w pracy zostaną omówione w dalszej części tego szkolenia wprowadzającego.
