빵을 좋아한다. 어릴 때부터 소보루나 크림빵을 밥보다 더 끼고 살았던 것 같다. 어른이 된 뒤에도 아이 때 만큼은 아니지만 식사 대신 혹은 간식으로 빵을 즐기곤 한다.불과 몇 해 전만 해도 동네마다 특징을 가진 ‘동네빵집’이 즐비했다. 빵 속에 크림을 얼마나 많이 넣었느냐, 덤으로 다른 빵을 얼마나 더 주느냐에 따라 동네 미식가들의 발걸음을 빼앗던 잔재미도 있었다.

I like bread. Since I was young, I feel like I surrounded myself with breads filled with cream or topped with streusel more than rice. Even now as an adult, though to a lesser degree than when I was child, I find myself enjoying bread as a meal or snack.
Just a few years ago it seemed like "neighborhood bread shops" with their own unique characteristics were dime a dozen. There was even gratification for neighborhood gourmands who decided on which shops to frequent based on minute details like, how much cream did a certain store put in their breads or which stores were generous with extras or freebies.
