Bio
I have completed a BA in
Translation Studies at the Ionian University of Corfu and an MA at the
University of Westminster where I achieved a Merit (2:1) in September 2004.
My professional training has broadened as I have been working as a
freelance and in-house translator for the last 15 years, having specialised in
audiovisual translation, Media, pharmaceuticals and quality assurance. More
specifically, I have extensive experience in subtitling, having worked with the
largest Greek and international companies, using various subtitling software
(Subtitle Workshop, Aegisub, EZT, Ooona and Originator). I am familiar with
Translation Memories, such as Trados and Wordfast Pro.
Huge fan of the big screen (and the small one, as well), so projects that have to do with films, series etc are my favourite.
