Although I have lived and worked in Greece for more than 30 years and my knowledge of the language starts out from Ancient Greek through to contemporary Demotic, I think it's equally important that I am a native speaker and writer of English and have a wide-ranging knowledge of this target language.
During my career I have worked for several Greek ministries, a number of banks, many publishers, the EU, NGOs, and a wide range of public bodies. I have worked a good deal in the field of law - both theory and litigation. I have about 100 coffee-table books on a wide variety of subjects and even more art exhibition catalogues to my credit, as well as short stories and poetry, and much, much more.
I have always met my deadlines.
A selection of the books which I have translated can be found on the Greek Books in Print website - http://www.gbip.gr
Also co-author of the original Fytrakis Greek-English Dictionary, and translator of Stathopoulos: Contract Law in Greece. |
