I earned my Diploma in Technical Translation in 1994 with English as my major language. From 1995 to 1998 I worked as an in-house translator for a UK based company specializing in automotive translations, including workshop manuals, service bulletins, training literature, diagnostic software.

Returned to my native country Norway in 1998 and set up my own translation business, but kept my former employer as my main client until end of 2009.

During these 12 years I did various types of translations including user manuals, IT (software and hardware) and medical and pharmaceutical texts. I also take a keen interest in alternative medicine and health and nutrition related issues, and is keen to do more translations in these subject matters.

Since February 2014 I have been working full-time as a medical secretary, providing me with valuable medical/hospital/pasient related know-how.
