Bio
Hello. My name is Aleksander, and I am a Norwegian who translates from Japanese and English. From 2009 to 2016 I lived in Japan, studying the Japanese language the first half, and working as an engineer for a Japanese telecommunications company the second half. I've been working on various translation projects and jobs on and off for years, but since December 2015 I have been translating full time.

My first major translation project was translating the Japanese children's book Night on the Galactic Railroad by Miyazawa Kenji into Norwegian, in 2013 right before I started my engineer job.

During the spring 2016 I translated a popular Japanese business book into English (I will post a link when the English version is published).

I am also working with Sferastudios, translating English subtitles into Norwegian.
