Source text - Korean 매화는 만물이 추위에 떨고 있을 때, 꽃을 피워 봄을 가장 먼저 알려줌으로 불의에 굴하지 않는 선비정신의 표상이었고, 늙은 몸에서 꽃을 피운다하여 회춘(回春)을 상징하기도 하지만, 사랑을 상징하는 꽃 중에서 가장 으뜸으로 매겨집니다. 그래서 조선 화가 강희안은 의 화목 9등품론에서 매화를 1품으로 분류하였습니다. 매화는 고결, 기품, 안내 맑은 마음을 상징하여, 시나 그림의 소재로도 많이 등장합니다.
Translation - English When all things are still shivering in the cold, the apricot blossoms blooming early telling us of the first signs of spring represent the classic scholar who does not wield to injustice, and also symbolize a return of spring with the blossoms blooming on an old tree, yet still comes in first as the flower most symbolic of love. So in the (a book of floriculture) by the Joseon artist Kang Hui-ahn, he ranked the apricot blossom a 1 out of 9 levels of quality. The apricot blossom represents noble-mindedness, grace, and the clear mind of a wife, leading to its appearance in many poems, and paintings.

Translation - English A still and calm panorama of the sea,
Songs of the sun and sea that still remember the splendid days of summer,
